About MOLLY
Molly Alexander is a painter, muralist, and graphic designer based in Carlsbad, California.
Her paintings are gestural, sensory, and joyful—bold florals, vivid still lifes, dreamy landscapes, and studies of everyday objects that somehow feel more alive on canvas then they do in real life. She paints the things that catch her eye, or are deeply meaningful. Small moments that deserve to be looked at twice.
Molly grew up in a creative family—her grandmother was a watercolor artist who kept meticulous sketchbooks of her travels and was Molly’s first art teacher. That influence shows up everywhere: In the way she moves through the world with a painter’s eye, and in her belief that art should make you feel something, not just match your sofa.
In 2025, Molly was an artist-in-residence at the Chateau d’Orquevaux in the French countryside, where she produced dozens of original paintings. The resulting French Connection series sold out almost entirely, with a second collection now available.
She is currently completing a 100-day painting challeng alongside her work as a full-time graphic designer.
